About McKenna Groshans
Hey y’all! My name is McKenna (Kenna) Groshans. I am a third generation real estate agent, following my mother’s, MIchelle Finley, and grandmother’s footsteps. Although I live on the plains in northeastern Colorado, social media allows me to connect with a part of the USA that will always have my heart.
I was born and semi-raised in a small farming community – population of 2,500 – in northeastern Colorado. In 2006, my family took a leap of faith and moved to Englewood, FL. Although the climate and population of Englewood was a total shock, we quickly fell in love and knew we were where we were meant to be.
Summer of 2015, I returned to my hometown to help my grandfather for wheat harvest. During that summer, I met a young man and decided to stay in Colorado. Knowing real estate was in my blood, I started my career by joining The Island Team in June of 2020 as the social media manager. I earned my Colorado real estate brokers license in April of 2021 and joined my grandmother’s real estate agency.
My husband, Gade, – that same young man from 2015 – and I got married in April of 2022. Together we juggle his welding business, my real estate career, and one very spoiled Australian Cattle Dog named Bexley. We are currently in the process of building a “shouse” (shop-house) on family farm ground in our hometown. Although I love where we live, I’d be lying if I said sunny, southwest Florida didn’t have a piece of my heart. However, it’s a blessing to be able to have a vacation spot to visit every year with the bonus of being able to see (and stay with!) family.
